Despite frigid single-digit temps, friends and families gathered in IronHorse to celebrate the holidays. Thanks to the handiwork of Mark Nyman and Cameron Craig, the bonfire was big, bright and toasty! The Crook County High School Jazz Choir braved the cold air and graced our ears with beautiful holiday melodies as we sipped hot chocolate and munched on snowman-shaped cookies.
One of the highlights was being "discovered" by the
Prineville Police Dept. who apparently didn't get word of our approved blaze. One look at our permit and a chat with the Fire Department and they were on their way. Apparently you could see the blaze from the grade coming into town. Talk about impressive!
